Bebé turned three last week! Where has the time gone? It’s hard to believe that my Cuban-American-Mexican precious baby boy, born with straight dark hair is now a 3 year old with a blond afro.
After having his first birthday party in Cuba, and his second at our house in Cancun, I figured it was time for an easy, economical birthday party at his daycare. It wasn’t quite as economical as I thought it would be…turns out Cuba has been the cheapest so far.
Bebé requested a Barney cake…
and a Barney piñata…watch out Barney!
His classmates are SO adorable and sang him a lot of different songs.
At first he wasn’t very happy about being the only kid who’s parents were at school, but eventually he came around.
“I’m sorry for what I am about to do to you Barney.”
After piñata time, it was cake time. (If you ever need a delicious and adorable cake, I have a friend that makes them.)
The owner of the daycare knows what kids like, she had Bebé blow the candles out twice.
We had pizza too. It was so cute to watch the little ones decide which to eat first.
Bebé loved his party and his gift.
I’m not sure his gift was the best idea, but I’ll get back to you about that.
*Oh, and if you’re observant…you now know Bebé’s name!
